Ball bearing
Thanks to their simple yet robust design, rothe erde® ball bearing are an ideal economical solution for all of your bearing needs. This design is relatively resistant to companion structure deviations. rothe erde® ball bearing are used for a range of applications, starting with excavator and crane construction, through automotive engineering to general engineering.
We have an option suited to every application in our portfolio. Common variants include single and double-row ball bearing, four-point and double-four-point bearings, profile bearings and turntables.
Our products

Torque bearings do not include axial ball bearings. Since they are not self-retaining, our axial ball bearings are better suited to use with concentrically-operating loads.
Typically, these bearings are used in applications pertaining to opencast mining and smelting works.
Double four-point bearings are used whenever a four-point bearing does not suffice in terms of absorbing power for the operating load. Thanks to their simple yet robust design, a double four-point bearing is an ideal economical solution for all of your bearing needs. In addition, this design is relatively resistant to deviations in companion structure.

rothe erde® turntables are a specific type of profile bearing - our turntables are developed as proven high-quality products to be installed in transport vehicles. They transmit both axial load and shear and tensile forces.
Our turntables are the result of many years of experience in construction and production in the field of lorry trailer turntable steering, articulated semi-trailers, fifth wheel coupling, heavy-duty transport and special vehicles.
Thanks to their meticulous processing, our turntables meet the high performance demands of our customers.
Every turntable is made of two steel rings which are designed to mount flanges. A favourable power transmission direction between the profile rings and the balls made of rolling bearing steel results from the cutting process for producing the raceways.

Our rothe erde® profile bearings are a specific type of ball bearing slewing rings. We distinguish between two types of profile bearings - firstly, L profile bearings which are bent and welded, and secondly, the seamlessly rolled and subsequently profiled rings. Thus, they are an exceptionally economical edition in terms of storage.
Our profile bearings are mainly used in limited assembly space since the screw heads form part of the overall height of the bearing.

Our turntables are a sub-category of profile bearings.

Thanks to their simple yet robust design, our rothe erde® four-point bearings are an ideal economical solution to your bearing needs. This design is relatively resistant to deviations in companion structure. They are an ideal compromise between economical and technical demands.

With our double-row ball bearings, the operational loads are transmitted via four points.
This design is especially suited to offsetting rather rigid companion structures.
