The Type C radial contact bearing is a single‑row ball bearing with a standard design. It is made using the Conrad method. During assembly, the inner ring is shifted to the side inside the outer ring, which creates space to insert about half of the total number of balls.
The Type C, radial contact ball bearing is designed with deep ball grooves to withstand high radial loads. Although this bearing is used primarily in applications with radial loads, it can withstand moderate reversing axial loads.
