Professional career

Armin Necker studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University Georg-Simon-Ohm in Nuremberg (1995-1999). In addition, he completed an International Executive MBA program at the renowned University of St.Gallen (HSG) from 2021 to 2024 to combine his technical know-how with well-founded business and management skills.

His professional career began as a working student in the engineering department at Robert Bosch GmbH. Armin Necker then joined Schaeffler AG in 2000, where he worked in various functions and regions. Most recently as Managing Director of the Aerospace business unit.

With over 30 years of experience in the industrial and automotive sectors, Armin Necker is a proven leader with international experience. Since 2005, he has taken on managerial responsibility - from product development and technological development to strategic orientation and responsibility for entire business units. He is therefore familiar with the slewing bearing industry in different market phases, on all continents under competitive and regulatory pressure and the various applications.

In 2023, he enthusiastically took on the role of Chief Technology Officer in Rothe Erde's management team and, together with the entire team, is shaping the future and competitiveness of the company.
