I have been working in the production industry for over 20 years. I started my career working for another company, but after it closed down, I had to find a new job. I chose to work at Rothe Erde because I am interested in working in the industry and I wanted to find a company with a good reputation.

Our challenges

One of the biggest challenges I face in my job is ensuring that the rollers meet high quality standards. This can be difficult because the standards are very high. To overcome this challenge, I focus on being careful and thorough in my work. I also double-check my work to make sure that I have not missed anything.

Another challenge I face is the fast-paced environment of the production floor. I need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, but I also need to be careful and accurate. But I have learned to prioritize my work and to stay organized.

Our typical working day

My typical working day starts with checking the rollers for any defects. I then measure the rollers to make sure that they meet the required specifications. I also perform a quality check to ensure that the rollers are free of any scratches or other imperfections.

I work two shifts, one in the early morning and one in the afternoon. The number of rollers that I check depends on the number of machines that are running. I need to be careful not to touch the rollers with my bare hands, as this could damage them. I use a microscope to inspect the rollers for any defects.
