 Professional background:

As part of his career as an officer in the Bundeswehr, Philipp Conze studied economics and organizational sciences in Munich from 1997 to 2001. In 2005, the business graduate finished an extra-occupational Executive MBA program in England. After various management positions in the Bundeswehr, he switched to management consulting with a focus on finance and controlling in 2006, characterized by diverse projects in a wide variety of industries. In 2012, he joined the thyssenkrupp AG where he was responsible for several areas in controlling. In the years 2016 to 2019, Philipp Conze assumed the overall responsibility for group controlling and accounting.

Since 2020, Philipp Bern Ulrich Conze is holding the position of the CFO for the entire business unit of thyssenkrupp rothe erde. Additionally, he is assuming the role of the CFO for the thyssenkrupp rothe erde Germany GmbH since 2021.
